Vodafone - Orange
To save you existing phone book to your new phone
On your existing Vodafone phone:
Select ‘phone book' from the menu (On some handsets, you can shortcut by pressing ‘names' from the front screen)
Select ‘Copy'
Select ‘From SIM card to phone'
Select ‘Copy all'
Select ‘Keep original'
Select ‘Start copying'
Then take your Orange SIM card out of your new phone and place in old phone:
Select ‘phone book' from the menu
Select ‘Copy'
Select ‘From phone to SIM card'
Select ‘Copy all'
Select ‘Keep original'
Select ‘Start copying'
Replace your orange SIM in your Orange phone and use for all outgoing calls immediately, place the Vodafone SIM card in your old phone and use for incoming calls. Continue to use your old Vodafone phone for incoming calls until the Port date that you have been advised of.
On this date please carry both phones with you, at some time (normally between 10am and 4pm) your existing Vodafone phone will stop working, when this happens switch off your Orange phone for 30 seconds and then turn back on, your existing number should be active on your new phone..
If the number is not working try again after 10 minutes. If the number is not working after 1 hour please contact us.
