The Client: Curran Packaging Company Ltd are based in East Tilbury, Essex. Founded in 1980 the company have grown through acquisitions and are now one of the largest manufacturers of Spiral and Convolute Wound Cardboard Tubes in the UK.
The requirements: The company wanted to track the movements of the company fleet, and hence improve customer service and efficiencies throughout.
The solution: ADSI recommended the installation of Navman Qube units for the vehicles, saving the company money on running costs whilst improving efficiency.
Jeremy Curran, Director was pleased with the handling of the installation and the account by ADSI’s Telematics team. ‘The Navman system allows us to check on the location of our delivery drivers, enabling us to reschedule deliveries and advise our customers of estimated delivery times. We are also able to set the system up so that we receive an email when a driver enters a particular area. This is especially useful when our drivers enter the London Congestion Zone as we can then pay the charge for the day and avoid fines later on. The solution is not only cheap but very easy to manage’.
